Deliciously crispy and sweet air fryer apple fries, perfect for sharing and dipping.
Ingredients

- 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Prep the apples by peeling if desired and cutting them into fry-like sticks. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Set up your coating stations: Bowl 1 for flour, Bowl 2 for whisked egg and milk, Bowl 3 for panko breadcrumbs mixed with sugar and cinnamon.
- Dredge each apple stick in the flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently.
- Lightly spray the coated apple fries with nonstick cooking spray and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.

Experiment with different apple varieties and dips like caramel or yogurt for added flavor.
