Description

A simple and delightful twist on the classic fried ice cream, made healthier with an air fryer and a crispy Cinnamon Toast Crunch coating.


Ingredients

  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 3 cups crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
  • Optional: chocolate syrup for drizzling
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping
  • Optional: maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal inside a zip loc bag and crush it with a rolling pin until fine.
  3. Transfer the crushed cereal to a large plate.
  4. Scoop out about 1 cup of ice cream and form it into a ball.
  5. Roll each ice cream ball in the crushed cereal, pressing firmly to ensure it sticks.
  6. Transfer the coated ice cream balls to the baking sheet and freeze for at least 3-4 hours.
  7. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  8. Once the ice cream is frozen, place it in the air fryer.
  9. Air fry at 400°F for about 2 minutes.
  10. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Ensure the ice cream is completely frozen before air frying. Experiment with different toppings to customize your dessert.
