- 1 can of apple pie filling (21 oz)
- 1 box of yellow cake mix (or spice cake mix for added flavor)
- 1 stick of butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
- Optional toppings: chopped nuts (like pecans), whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the apple pie filling into the prepared dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the apples.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the top (optional).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Optionally serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
