Description

A delightful blend of rich steak and fresh peppery arugula, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice, topped with parmesan.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 steak
  • 2 cups arugula
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp parmesan (finely grated)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the steak to your desired doneness.
  3. Allow the steak to rest while preparing the arugula.
  4. Add arugula to a bowl and dress with olive oil and lemon. Toss well.
  5. Season the arugula with salt and pepper and toss again.
  6. Add the grated parmesan and toss once more.
  7. Transfer the dressed arugula to a serving dish.
  8. Slice the steak and lay it on top of the arugula.

Notes

For an elevated flavor, add fresh herbs or toasted nuts. Use high-quality olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon for best results.
