Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) ground beef
  • 1 cup (240 ml) (100 grams) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) (50 grams) cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams) smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (2.5 grams) salt
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 grams) chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 pound (454 g) (450 grams) beef bacon strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix venison, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Add olive oil to the mixture and combine thoroughly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix shredded cheddar cheese and cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Divide the cheese mixture into small, even portions.
  6. Take a portion of the venison mixture and flatten it into a disc.
  7. Place a cheese portion in the center of the venison disc.
  8. Carefully fold the venison around the cheese, forming a ball.
  9. Repeat the process until all venison and cheese are used.
  10. Wrap each venison ball with a strip of beef bacon.
  11. Place the bacon-wrapped venison bombs on a baking sheet.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
  13. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the cooked venison bombs.
  14. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Season the ground beef generously with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt for a flavorful filling. Distribute the cheese mixture evenly in each venison ball for a gooey, melty center. Wrap the venison bombs securely with beef bacon strips before baking to keep them intact. Garnish with fresh parsley post-baking for a vibrant touch of color and freshness.
