Description

A delightful blend of creamy cheesecake and sweet banana pudding, layered with a crunchy Nilla wafer crust for a nostalgic dessert experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 package Nilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Layer the bottom of a springform pan with crushed Nilla wafers to create the crust.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes, then cool.
  6. In another bowl, mix the instant vanilla pudding with milk according to package directions.
  7. Fold in the whipped cream gently.
  8. Spread the pudding mixture over the cooled cheesecake.
  9. Top with sliced bananas and additional crushed Nilla wafers.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

To avoid cracks in the cheesecake, cool slowly in the oven and chill for a full four hours. Consider adding a sprinkle of crushed Nilla wafers on top for garnish.
