- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 package Nilla wafers
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Layer the bottom of a springform pan with crushed Nilla wafers to create the crust.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then cool.
- In another bowl, mix the instant vanilla pudding with milk according to package directions.
- Fold in the whipped cream gently.
- Spread the pudding mixture over the cooled cheesecake.
- Top with sliced bananas and additional crushed Nilla wafers.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
To avoid cracks in the cheesecake, cool slowly in the oven and chill for a full four hours. Consider adding a sprinkle of crushed Nilla wafers on top for garnish.
