Description
Delicious and easy-to-make skewers loaded with juicy chicken, flavored with a sweet-and-spicy marinade of mayonnaise, Sriracha, and honey.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1–2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well. Allow marinating for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers carefully to avoid overcrowding.
- Grill the skewers for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is fully cooked and shows nice grill marks.
- Serve hot as an appetizer or main dish, with extra sauce on the side if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing lime juice or zest into the marinade. Allow skewers to rest for a few minutes after grilling to retain juices.
