  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 finely diced onion
  • 12 cloves minced garlic
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce for mixing, plus extra for topping
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, finely diced onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, milk, and ¼ cup of BBQ sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  4. Spread a generous layer of the remaining BBQ sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 40-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70-71°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
