A colorful and flavorful beef stir fry that combines sliced beef with vibrant vegetables and a savory soy sauce for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and sauté until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Add the beef back into the pan, pour in the soy sauce, and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For a variation, try adding chicken or tofu, or using different seasonal vegetables.
