- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey (15 milliliters)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce (30 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice (15 milliliters)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground cumin (2 grams)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a blender, combine blackberries, habanero peppers, olive oil, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, and cumin.
- Blend until smooth to create a marinade.
- Season the venison cubes with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Place venison cubes in a large bowl or resealable plastic bag.
- Pour the marinade over the venison, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Cover the bowl or seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated venison cubes onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece.
- Place the skewers on the preheated grill.
