Ingredients

  • 2 heads garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 ½ tablespoons paprika
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Louisiana hot sauce
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place a large pot over medium-low flame. Add the unsalted butter.
  2. Allow the butter to melt slowly, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
  3. Once melted, reduce the flame to the lowest setting. Carefully introduce the minced garlic.
  4. Add Old Bay seasoning, paprika, Cajun seasoning, sugar, cayenne pepper, chili powder, and lemon pepper to the melted butter.
  5. Stir gently and continuously to blend the ingredients evenly.
  6. After about 30 seconds, take a moment to breathe in the rich aroma.
  7. Slowly pour the Louisiana hot sauce into the mixture, followed by the fresh lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
  8. Increase the flame slightly to bring the sauce to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for about 5 minutes.
  9. After simmering, turn off the heat and carefully remove the pot. Let it cool down to your desired temperature.
