- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 heads garlic, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 ½ tablespoons paprika
- 1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
- 2 tablespoons Louisiana hot sauce
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Place a large pot over medium-low flame. Add the unsalted butter.
- Allow the butter to melt slowly, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
- Once melted, reduce the flame to the lowest setting. Carefully introduce the minced garlic.
- Add Old Bay seasoning, paprika, Cajun seasoning, sugar, cayenne pepper, chili powder, and lemon pepper to the melted butter.
- Stir gently and continuously to blend the ingredients evenly.
- After about 30 seconds, take a moment to breathe in the rich aroma.
- Slowly pour the Louisiana hot sauce into the mixture, followed by the fresh lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
- Increase the flame slightly to bring the sauce to a gentle simmer. Allow it to cook for about 5 minutes.
- After simmering, turn off the heat and carefully remove the pot. Let it cool down to your desired temperature.
Notes
Adjust spice levels according to taste; add more cayenne pepper or chili powder for heat.
