Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls and flatten slightly before placing on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely.
- In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk to create a frosting consistency.
