Delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake with tender, spiced apples atop a crispy graham cracker crust.

- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples (about 3 medium apples)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract, then add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking dish. Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and doesn’t jiggle.
- Allow to cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.
- Serve with additional caramel sauce if desired.
Notes
Ensure apple chunks are uniform in size for even distribution. Serve chilled for the best taste.
