Description

Delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake with tender, spiced apples atop a crispy graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and chopped apples (about 3 medium apples)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract, then add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking dish. Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and doesn’t jiggle.
  7. Allow to cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before cutting into bars.
  8. Serve with additional caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Ensure apple chunks are uniform in size for even distribution. Serve chilled for the best taste.
