- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or thawed frozen)
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth

- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (preferably sharp)
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Sauté chopped onions for 3–4 minutes until they become translucent.
- Add the broccoli to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

- Once the orzo absorbs the liquid, add the shredded chicken, stirring gently to heat through.
- Remove from heat and fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Allow the dish to sit for 2–3 minutes to thicken before serving.
Notes
For variation, substitute broccoli with other vegetables like spinach or peas. Adjust seasoning carefully, especially with Worcestershire sauce.
