Description
Indulge in the warmth and flavor of cheesy garbage bread, a delightful blend of mozzarella, cheddar, pepperoni, and fresh veggies wrapped in pizza dough.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage crumbles
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
- Spread the marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella, cheddar, pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, onion, and olives over the sauce.
- Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam and ends to seal. Place the seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the top of the garbage bread with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Bake the garbage bread for 25–30 minutes or until it’s golden brown and cooked through. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice the garbage bread into rounds and serve with extra marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, consider using crushed red pepper flakes or switching up the vegetables based on availability.
