- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and mozzarella mix)
- 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and cook chicken until golden brown (5-6 minutes).
- Sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add broccoli and cook until bright green.
- Make cheese sauce: melt butter, add flour, whisk in milk until thickened.
- Stir in cheeses gradually until melted and smooth.
- Combine chicken and broccoli with cheese sauce.
- Optional: bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.

- Use freshly grated cheese for best melting results
