- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease a baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
- Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the dish.
- In another bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, ¾ cup of granulated sugar, the large egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the dough, spreading it evenly.
- Lay the second package of crescent roll dough over the cream cheese layer, sealing the edges.
- Pour the melted butter over the top dough layer, followed by the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Chilling the assembled cheesecake before baking can enhance the flavor. Feel free to add chocolate chips or caramel for variations.
