Description

A delightful blend of two beloved treats, Cinnamon Roll Blondies offer a rich, buttery base with a sweet cinnamon swirl, perfect for satisfying cravings with ease.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease or line your 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar.
  4. Stir in the eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the flour and salt. Be mindful—do not overmix.
  6. To create the cinnamon swirl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a separate bowl until it resembles wet sand.
  7. Spread the blondie batter evenly in your prepared baking pan.
  8. Add spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture over the top, and gently swirl using a butter knife.
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out mostly clean.
  10. Cool completely before icing.
  11. For the icing, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth.
  12. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
  13. Drizzle the icing over the cooled blondies.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs for better blending and consider sprinkling some cinnamon mixture on top for a beautiful finish.
