Description

Crispy, sweet, and lightly spiced — these Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips are a healthy and delicious snack that’s easy to make with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale

2 ripe yet firm bananas

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp melted coconut oil

2 tbsp granulated sugar or brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt (optional)

Optional Additions:

Sprinkle of nutmeg

Drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Instructions

1. Peel bananas and slice evenly into 1/8-inch rounds. Toss slices with lemon juice.

2. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.

3. Brush banana slices with melted coconut oil. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.

4. Preheat air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for 3 mins. Arrange slices in a single layer in basket.

5. Air fry at 300°F for 10-15 mins, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp. Add extra 2-3 mins if needed.

6. Cool completely on a wire rack. Enjoy or store in airtight container.

Notes

Use firm ripe bananas for best texture.

Slice thin and even for consistent crispiness.

Don’t overcrowd basket.

Cool fully — they crisp more as they cool.

Try monk fruit or coconut sugar for alternatives.
