Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a large bowl. Mix well.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining granulated sugar over the top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
