Description

Classic German meatballs bring warmth and comfort, serving as a delightful centerpiece for any meal, combining ground beef and aromatic spices for a memorable dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground choice of meat
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground choice of meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley until well mixed.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  4. Serve hot, either on their own or in sandwiches.

Notes

Let the meatballs rest briefly after frying for better texture. They can also be stored in an airtight container for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
