- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and egg.
- Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
- Cook the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through.
- Serve with pasta, in a sub, or as an appetizer.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcrowding the skillet while cooking the meatballs. Experiment with additional herbs and spices to suit your taste.
