Description

A delightful dessert that combines creamy pudding, ripe bananas, and crunchy Nilla wafers for a nostalgic treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 Box Nilla wafers
  • 1 5.1 oz package Instant vanilla pudding
  • 34 Ripe bananas, sliced
  • 3 Cups cold milk
  • 8 Oz whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Add the entire package of instant pudding to a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour three cups of cold milk into the bowl with the pudding mix.
  3. Whisk pudding and milk together until thoroughly combined.
  4. Add half the container of whipped topping to the bowl with pudding and mix thoroughly.
  5. Place a single layer of Nilla wafers on the bottom of the pan or dish.
  6. Slice bananas into approximately 1/3-1/4 inch slices and lay half of the slices in a single layer on top of the Nilla wafers.
  7. Spoon approximately half of the pudding and whipped topping mix into the banana slices and spread it evenly.
  8. Repeat this layering again, starting with a layer of Nilla wafers.
  9. Once the second layer is complete, add the second half of the whipped topping on top of the last layer of pudding.
  10. If desired, crumble a few Nilla wafers and sprinkle them on top.

Notes

Refrigerate for at least a few hours before serving to allow flavors to meld. Consider tossing banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning if preparing in advance.
