- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup pasta water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the cream cheese and a little reserved pasta water to the skillet, stirring until smooth.
- Mix in cooked pasta and add more pasta water as needed to reach desired creaminess.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if desired.
Notes
Consider adding fresh spinach, cherry tomatoes, or sautéed mushrooms for additional flavor and nutrition.
