Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup pasta water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the cream cheese and a little reserved pasta water to the skillet, stirring until smooth.
  4. Mix in cooked pasta and add more pasta water as needed to reach desired creaminess.
  5. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if desired.

Notes

Consider adding fresh spinach, cherry tomatoes, or sautéed mushrooms for additional flavor and nutrition.
