- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to even thickness.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet. Lower the heat, add butter and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the cream and stir to deglaze the skillet. Add parmesan cheese and simmer until thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through and coat with sauce.
Notes
For a richer flavor, let the chicken rest after cooking. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
