Ingredients

- 300g 5% fat beef mince
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 20ml dark soy sauce
- 15ml sriracha
- 10g tomato puree
- 20g honey
- 250g cooked rice
- Optional toppings: sliced spring onion, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Start by chopping the onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the onion and bell pepper for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Next, add the beef mince to the pan and cook, stirring, until the liquid evaporates and the beef is browned.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sriracha, tomato puree, honey, and a splash of water. Mix well.
- Pour the sauce into the pan with the beef and cook until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the cooked rice and mix well until evenly coated and heated through.
- Top with spring onions and sesame seeds for garnish.
Notes
Always use pre-cooked rice for better results. Adjust the sauce ingredients to suit your taste.
