Ingredients

- 1 pound ground venison
- 2 cups cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in ground venison and cook until browned.
- Mix in cabbage, carrots, and green onions, cooking until vegetables are tender.
- Pour in soy sauce and combine well.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the mixture in the center of an egg roll wrapper.
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
For best results, make sure the oil is the right temperature before frying. Adjust seasoning to taste before wrapping.
