Description

Ingredients

  • 2 (12 oz) bags Frozen Okra
  • 28 oz Frozen Butter Beans
  • 1/2 lb Bacon, chopped
  • 1 Yellow Onion, chopped
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups Vegetable Broth
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasonings
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • Cooked White Rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Chop the bacon, onion, and bell pepper.
  2. Add all the ingredients to your crockpot.
  3. Cook on low for at least five hours, allowing the ingredients to mingle.
  4. Serve over warm, fluffy white rice and enjoy.

Notes

Sautéing the bacon beforehand enhances its smokiness. Experiment with spices for a kick.
