Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs steak (cubed)
- 4 large potatoes (diced)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the cubed steak and diced potatoes in the slow cooker.
- Add chopped onion, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the steak and potatoes are tender.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Stir again, cover, and let the cheese melt.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Experiment with adding herbs or spices like rosemary or paprika for extra flavor. If you like a thicker stew, add a cornstarch slurry near the end of cooking.
