Instructions
- Begin by peeling the cucumber and slicing it into 1/8-inch thick rounds. Pat the slices dry with paper towels or lightly salt them, allowing them to sit in a colander for 15-20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and dry again.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth and well combined.
- Add minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese to the dressing. Season with black pepper and salt, adjusting seasoning to your preference.
- Whisk the dressing until it achieves a smooth and creamy consistency. If it’s too thick, add a teaspoon or two of water to reach your desired texture.
- In a separate bowl, gently toss the sliced cucumber with the prepared Caesar dressing until evenly coated.
- Just before serving, sprinkle in the croutons and gently toss them through the salad to combine.
- Transfer the salad to a serving bowl or individual plates. Garnish with extra grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of fresh black pepper. If desired, top with grilled chicken or shrimp for a hearty addition.
