  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onion powder (5 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground black pepper (2 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt (5 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce (15 milliliters)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice (15 milliliters)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s fresh cilantro, chopped (8 grams)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the deer tenderloin.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the tenderloin, coating it well.
  5. Place the tenderloin on the grill.
  6. Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  7. In a small pan, heat remaining olive oil over medium heat.
  8. Add sliced jalapeños to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
