- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup ketchup (or more if desired)
- 1/2 cup water (or more if beef is lean)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a bread loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the dry stuffing mix, ground beef, eggs, water, and half of the ketchup.
- Fill the prepared pan with the mixture, using hands to squish it down evenly.
- Top with the remaining ketchup for a glaze.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes, checking for doneness (typically around 50 minutes).
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in chopped onions, peppers, or garlic. Use a meat thermometer to ensure an internal temperature of 160 degrees for perfectly cooked beef.
