- 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for about 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sugar, mixing well.
- Add the blanched broccoli to the pan, tossing to coat the broccoli in the sauce.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot as a side dish.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the broccoli in soy sauce before cooking. Pair with grains or proteins for a complete meal.
