Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for about 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sugar, mixing well.
  5. Add the blanched broccoli to the pan, tossing to coat the broccoli in the sauce.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot as a side dish.
