- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, add the beef, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Consider browning the beef for added flavor. Add potatoes halfway through cooking to prevent mushiness. You can also add greens like spinach or kale before serving.
