- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) (15 grams) chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) (30 grams) chopped green onions
- For the lemon aioli:
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) (120 grams) mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Gently fold in the chopped parsley and green onions into the mixture.
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits.
- Scoop out some of the avocado flesh to create a larger cavity for stuffing.
- Fill each avocado half with the crab mixture, mounding it slightly.
- Place the stuffed avocados on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crab mixture is heated through and lightly browned.
- While the avocados are baking, prepare the lemon aioli by mixing mayonnaise, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Season the aioli with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Once the avocados are done, remove them from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve the crab cake stuffed avocados with a drizzle of lemon aioli on top.
