Ingredients

  • 2 medium spring onion whites, chopped
  • 56 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 23 celery stems, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, diced
  • 45 mushrooms, sliced
  • Handful of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 spring onion greens, chopped for garnish
  • 100 grams chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped spring onion whites, garlic, celery, and carrot. Sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in chopped mushrooms and cabbage, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add diced chicken breast to the pot and cook until lightly browned.
  5. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients, and add light and dark soy sauces.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. In the last few minutes of cooking, stir in the egg white until cooked through.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your fat-burning soup!

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice or fresh herbs before serving. This soup keeps well in the refrigerator for up to three days; freeze portions for quick meals later.
