Description
A festive ice cream cake layered with cookies-and-cream and vanilla ice cream, topped with crushed Oreos, perfect for celebrations.

- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder

- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1.5 quarts cookies-and-cream ice cream
- 1.5 quarts vanilla ice cream
- 15 Oreo cookies (crushed)
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 10 crushed Oreos (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9-inch springform pan by lining it with plastic wrap.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then stir in the hot water for a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow it to cool completely before leveling.
- Mix the vanilla ice cream with crushed Oreos in a large bowl.
- Line a clean pan with plastic wrap. Add the cooled cake at the bottom, then spread the cookies-and-cream ice cream on top.
- Freeze the cake for 2 hours until the ice cream sets.
- Carefully add the Oreo-vanilla ice cream layer on top and freeze for another 4 hours.
- Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until you form soft peaks.
- Frost the top of the cake with the whipped cream, using any extra to garnish with crushed Oreos.
- Freeze the entire cake for an additional 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve on a cake stand accompanied by fresh strawberries and a glass of milk.
Notes
For best results, ensure each layer of ice cream freezes solidly before adding the next. Experiment with different ice cream flavors to keep things exciting.
