  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 24 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or parchment paper.
  2. Melt the stick of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until thoroughly blended.
  4. Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder; mix until the batter is smooth.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the brownies to cool before preparing the frosting.
  7. Dissolve instant coffee granules in heavy whipping cream.
  8. Beat unsalted butter in a bowl until light and fluffy; gradually add powdered sugar and mix.
  9. Slowly add coffee-infused cream, adjusting consistency to your preference.
  10. Spread the frosting over cooled brownies, slice, and serve.

Notes

For a stronger coffee flavor, add more coffee extract to taste. Always measure ingredients accurately for the best results.
