- 1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
- 2–4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or parchment paper.
- Melt the stick of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until thoroughly blended.
- Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder; mix until the batter is smooth.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool before preparing the frosting.
- Dissolve instant coffee granules in heavy whipping cream.
- Beat unsalted butter in a bowl until light and fluffy; gradually add powdered sugar and mix.
- Slowly add coffee-infused cream, adjusting consistency to your preference.
- Spread the frosting over cooled brownies, slice, and serve.
Notes
For a stronger coffee flavor, add more coffee extract to taste. Always measure ingredients accurately for the best results.
