This fudgy brownie mug cake is a quick and easy dessert that delivers rich chocolate goodness in just one minute.

- 1 tbsp salted butter
- 2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp vanilla (optional)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Melt one tablespoon of salted butter directly in the mug in the microwave.
- Add two tablespoons of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the melted butter and stir until they are completely melted.
- Once the chocolate and butter mixture is melted and smooth, stir in one egg yolk, the tablespoon of brown sugar, and the vanilla if desired.
- Carefully mix in two tablespoons of flour until the flour disappears into the mixture.
- If desired, fold in one tablespoon of chocolate chips for extra chocolaty goodness.
- Cook your brownie mug cake in the microwave for 45 seconds; adjust time as necessary.
