Description

This fudgy brownie mug cake is a quick and easy dessert that delivers rich chocolate goodness in just one minute.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp salted butter
  • 2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt one tablespoon of salted butter directly in the mug in the microwave.
  2. Add two tablespoons of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the melted butter and stir until they are completely melted.
  3. Once the chocolate and butter mixture is melted and smooth, stir in one egg yolk, the tablespoon of brown sugar, and the vanilla if desired.
  4. Carefully mix in two tablespoons of flour until the flour disappears into the mixture.
  5. If desired, fold in one tablespoon of chocolate chips for extra chocolaty goodness.
  6. Cook your brownie mug cake in the microwave for 45 seconds; adjust time as necessary.
