Description

Indulgent fudgy brownie cookies that combine the richness of brownies with the convenience of cookies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Mix it with the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.
  5. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spaced apart to allow for spreading.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set, but the centers remain soft.

Notes

Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
