Description
Tender steak bites seared to perfection in garlic butter, topped with a rich Parmesan cream sauce. A perfect dish for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry and season them generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and sear the steak in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until brown.
- Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium, melt the butter and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Return the steak to the skillet, mixing to coat with the garlic butter.
- In a separate saucepan, melt one tablespoon of butter and sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream to the saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
- Pour the Parmesan cream sauce over the steak bites or serve on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcrowding the pan when searing the steak to achieve optimal browning.
