A delicious Garlic Butter Steak with a rich Parmesan cream sauce, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season each ribeye steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Let it melt until bubbling.
  3. Place the steaks in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  4. Carefully flip the steaks using tongs and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter along with the minced garlic.
  5. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
  6. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  7. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the heavy cream. Whisk continuously to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
  8. Pour in the grated Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens, roughly 3-4 minutes.
  9. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  10. Slice the steaks, plate them, and drizzle the Parmesan cream sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Using an instant-read thermometer can help gauge the steak’s internal temperature. Allowing the steaks to rest after cooking retains moisture.
