Description

A delightful side dish featuring roasted broccoli and cauliflower infused with garlic and topped with melted Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli and cauliflower with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Toss until well coated.
  4. Spread the seasoned vegetables on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and tender.
  6. In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top and return to the oven until melted.

Notes

For a kick, add red pepper flakes or fresh herbs like thyme or parsley before serving.
