Description

A vibrant and refreshing coleslaw that combines green and purple cabbage with a creamy, tangy dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 cups purple cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • ½ tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp celery seed
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper until smooth to make the dressing.
  2. Thinly slice the green and purple cabbage and grate the carrots.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the prepared vegetables and toss with the dressing until fully coated.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to develop.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, add the dressing just before serving to prevent the cabbage from wilting.
