- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies. For an enhanced flavor, consider adding a pinch of espresso powder.
