Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl for the tzatziki sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, let the meatball mixture rest for about 10-15 minutes before forming them. You can also substitute ground turkey with chicken or plant-based alternatives.
