- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl for the tzatziki sauce.
- Serve the meatballs warm with tzatziki on the side.
Notes
For added flavor, let the meatball mixture rest for about 10-15 minutes before forming them. You can also substitute ground turkey with chicken or plant-based alternatives.
