Delicious and healthy Greek turkey meatballs packed with fresh herbs and garlic, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small, uniform meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve warm with tzatziki sauce and lemon wedges.

Notes

Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes before baking for enhanced flavor. Feel free to add crushed red pepper for spice.
