Description
A delightful combination of seasoned beef, fluffy rice, and melted cheese enveloped in a crispy grilled tortilla.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: Start by browning the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Drain excess grease and add taco seasoning with 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Warm the Tortillas: In a dry skillet or microwave, warm the flour tortillas to make them flexible.
- Assemble the Burrito: Lay one tortilla flat, add rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Grill the Burrito: Heat a clean skillet on medium, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese on the skillet, place the burrito seam-side down, and grill for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding black beans, jalapeños, or corn to the filling. Experiment with different cheeses for delightful variations.
