- 4 burger buns

- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- For the Blackberry Peach Salsa:
- 1 cup (240 ml) blackberries (150 grams)
- 1 large peach, diced
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) red bell pepper, finely chopped (40 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) agave syrup (15 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice (15 milliliters)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh parsley, chopped (5 grams)
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt (1.5 grams)
- For the Whipped Cheddar:
- 4 ounces (113 g) cheddar cheese, rind removed (115 grams)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) cream cheese (30 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) almond milk (15 milliliters)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, gently mix ground venison with salt and black pepper.
- Divide the meat into four equal portions and shape each into a ball.
- Heat olive oil on the grill and place meat balls onto it.
- Smash each meat ball into a thin patty using a spatula.
- Grill each patty for 3-4 minutes on the first side.
- Flip patties and place a slice of brie cheese on each.
- Grill for another 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove patties from grill and let them rest.
- Toast burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden.
- For the salsa, combine blackberries, diced peach, red onion, honey, lime juice, cilantro, and salt in a bowl.
- Stir salsa gently until well mixed and set aside.
- For the whipped brie, blend brie cheese, cream cheese, and milk until smooth.
- Spread whipped brie on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a venison patty on each prepared bun.
- Top each patty with a generous spoonful of blackberry peach salsa.
- Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve immediately.
