Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat one tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the lean ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook thoroughly until browned.
- Stir in the canned tomatoes with juices and beef broth, and add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about ten minutes.
- Stir in the plain Greek yogurt and grated parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
- Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing until fully coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
